Regis Philbin Passes Away at 88!

Here's another one for 2020 as Regis Philbin has passed away. The legendary talk show host was 88. According to a statement to People Magazine, Philbin died of natural causes yesterday, his family shared: "We are deeply saddened to share that our beloved Regis Philbin passed away last night of natural causes, one month shy of his 89th birthday. His family and friends are forever grateful for the time we got to spend with him – for his warmth, his legendary sense of humor, and his singular ability to make every day into something worth talking about. We thank his fans and admirers for their incredible support over his 60-year career and ask for privacy as we mourn his loss."

Though his death was natural causes, Philbin has been no stranger to health issues. In 1993, he had an angioplasty and in 2007, he underwent a triple bypass due to plaque found in his arteries. He also had hip replacement surgery two years later and had a blood clot removed in 2010. Regis was best known as the co-host of 'Live! With Regis and...' I say that because it started as 'Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee' in 1986 (originally 'The Morning Show' for three years prior). In 2000, Kathie Lee Gifford left the series so it was just Regis and a series of co-hosts, some vying for the vacant spot, such as Lisa Rinna and Kelly Ripa. Eventually, Ripa won out in 2001, turning the show into 'Live! With Regis and Kelly' until Regis departed the series in 2011. He also gained popularity as the host of the smash hit game show 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.' He is survived by his second wife, Joy, who was a frequent guest co-host on 'Live!' and four children. We will miss you, Reg!

She continued to pursue her passion, have three kids, develop a wildly successful podcast, and work on clothing and accessories.  But, when you are in the public eye, boasting 541K followers on Instagram , almost everything you do is up for scrutiny. Fans (and haters) began to notice a lack of presence when it came to her husband, Corey and questioned if their marriage was okay. There is an abundance of photos of daughters, Skylar and
