New York Governor Andrew Cuomo Announces Resignation!

  Credit: Andrew Cuomo Twitter Doing the right thing. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has announced his resignation. This comes on the heels of a handful of sexual assault allegations. Governor Cuomo helped lead the fight against COVID via daily news briefings. He became the voice of reassurance and reason through most of 2020 while keeping New York as safe as he could. It is sad this is the legacy he is leaving behind. His resignation will be effective in two weeks.  "The best way I can help is if I step aside and let government get back to the governing," Cuomo shared.  More to come as it continues to evolve? Christina Applegate Shares She Has MS!

  Credit: Dead To Me Instagram As if the past two years have not been hard enough for everyone, they just got tougher for actress, Christina Applegate.   The 49-year-old revealed she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis a short time ago. She shared this news via Twitter last night, saying: “It’s been a strange journey. But I have been so supported by people that I know who also have this condition. It’s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going.” The former 'Married...With Children' star has been supported by friend, Selma Blair who has been very public about her battle with MS. This is not the first health battle Applegate has gone through. In 2008, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent a double mastectomy to ensure the cancer was free from her body. Comedian Kathy Griffin Has Lung Cancer!

  Credit: Kathy Griffin Instagram Comedian Kathy Griffin has revealed she is battling lung cancer. She shared the news on her Instagram page in a quick post. It is currently contained to her left lung and is at stage one. The doctors will be removing part of said lung and are extremely optimistic. It appears she will not have to undergo chemo or radiation after this procedure, deeming it is successful. Griffin notes had she not been vaccinated, the outcome would have been far worse. This is in no way an endorsement for vaccination but rather a cautionary tale of what could have been. Several years ago, Kathy's sister was diagnosed with cancer. To show her support for her sibling's long road ahead, Kathy shaved her head. We wish her a speedy recovery.
