'Mom' Ending After 8 Seasons- Cast Reacts!

courtesy of cbs.com 'Mom' is officially coming to an end after eight seasons on CBS. This is a crushing blow for longtime fans of the hit comedy series. The signs were there when Allison Janney and Anna Faris signed contracts taking them through season eight. But, Janney told Ellen DeGeneres the other day, she would love to keep telling stories as long as she could. Apparently, the clock was ticking. The ensemble comedy is currently the fourth highest-rated on CBS so there is really no need for it to end. And Anna Faris being absent for the current season has very little to do with it, in our opinion. If anything, we have gotten to know the other characters much better. The series finale will air May 6th. No word on just how but Kristen Johnston, who plays Tammy Diffendorf, has already tweeted how sad she is . But, she thanked their fans who are truly devastated. We still have two-and-a-half months left so let's hope the best is yet to come!

Dustin Diamond Has Passed Away After Lung Cancer Battle!

photo courtesy of en.wikipedia.org Shortly after learning of his diagnosis, Dustin Diamond has passed away. The actor/comedian, best known for his role as Samuel "Screech" Powers on 'Saved By the Bell' was only 44. His rep confirmed the news today to TMZ. Diamond had been on a decline since last week and was taken off of breathing machines. The hope was to get him to hospice but unfortunately, that was not to be. Luckily, he was able to make amends with several of his SBTB co-stars after years of not speaking. They even did a recent Peacock reboot of the series in which he was the only OG not involved. It will be interesting to hear their reactions to his passing. We hope he is finally at peace. His girlfriend was by his side as his slipped away so he was not alone.

Kelly Dodd Deletes Negative Comment About Positive Beverage After Losing Endorsement!

photo courtesy of Bravo Kelly Dodd is fairly certain she will be getting fired from 'RHOC' despite saying no contracts have gone out yet. This weekend, she went out to an unmasked large lunch with her friends and husband, Rick Leventhal. There, Covid was mocked and she is already on thin ice for insensitive comments she has made about the pandemic. Her insensitivity finally caught up with her when Positive Beverages released her from their endorsement.    "We welcome all people -- however they are and whatever they are passionate about -- to Positive Beverage. But there must always be an underlying layer of respect. Unfortunately, we feel Kelly's stance is no longer congruent with our core values. We appreciate her contributions during our affiliation, and she will always be a part of Positive Beverage's history, but we do not align with her opinions or global views while we uphold our own values." ~CEO Shannon Argyros Kelly gave a backhanded respons
