Mandi's Movie Review: SING!

By Source, Fair use, https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?curid=48524093 How can it fail? "Sing" has an all-star cast, fun music and dancing/talking animals. This should be gold! Let's try bronze, if that. I feel really bad saying anything bad about this film as I saw the previews and thought "how cute is this?" But in reality, the previews were more than enough and probably had all the cuteness the movie needed.

Carrie Fisher Has Died At Age 60!

photo courtesy of starwars.com Following our post of the passing of George Michael, we now must share even more devastating news. Carrie Fisher, best known as Princess Leia in the "Star Wars" films, has died at the age of 60. She had suffered a heart attack last week and was originally listed in critical condition and then stable by her dog, brother and mother, icon Debbie Reynolds. It seemed like she would pull through but sadly, that would not be the case as Fisher passed away this morning.  Daughter Billie Lourd was the one who had the statement released about her mother's passing and is survived by Lourd and siblings Todd, Joely, and Tricia Leigh as well as mom, Debbie. They also have made mention of her bulldog, Gary. Right now, the world is struggling to understand why 2016 seems to be the year of the celebrity deaths and Fisher is someone we were all praying for extremely hard.

George Michael Passes Away on Christmas!

photo courtesy of biography.com It has taken a few days to really let this one sink in but singer George Michael has passed away at the age of 53. The former WHAM! front man turned soloist was found peacefully in his bed on Christmas morning by his partner of about four years. Though he was plagued by scandal, there is no denying that Michael made some of the best music that the eighties and nineties had ever seen, with some of the hottest supermodels of our time, nonetheless. The world was devastated when he announced that he was gay as he looked oh so sexy in his tight denim and leather jacket circa the "Faith" video. That particular song was covered by Limp Bizkit and opened up a whole new generation to Michael's brilliant sound.  He did duets with legends such as Elton John and Aretha Franklin , both who paid tribute to him on social media, along with millions of fans. He was one of the top tweets after he died and the world won't soon forget him or

The Cause of Alan Thicke's Death Revealed; Celebs Attend Memorial!

courtesy of biography.com We shared a lot of "laughter and love" with Alan Thicke, one of television's favorite fathers during the eighties and early nineties. But when he tragically passed away at the age of 69 while playing hockey with his youngest son, everyone was shocked and stunned. It was presumed that the cause of death was a heart attack but now it has been confirmed that Thicke died of a ruptured aorta. He leaves behind his wife, Tanya along with three sons: Brennan, 41 and musician Robin, 39 with first wife, Gloria Loring and Carter, 19 with second wife, Gina Tolleson. He had no kids with third wife, Tanya but he had many celebrity friends that honored the late star at his memorial. They included Leonardo DiCaprio , who starred with Thicke on "Growing Pains" as well as the rest of the cast of the hit family comedy. Bob Saget, Alex Trebek, and Bill Maher also were in attendance and Robin Thicke's ex-wife, actress Paula Patton sent out a

Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian Back Together!

photo courtesy of eonline.com Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian have gotten back together after a brief yet tumultuous split which exposed Chyna as using the only Kardashian son for profit. The duo split a few days ago after Chyna packed up the couple's newborn daughter, Dream and all of their possessions and left the home that Rob had purchased for his new family. This came on the heels of the Kardashian sisters supposedly denying Chyna the right to trademark herself as Angela Renee Kardashian. Along with this, there was an Instagram leak where private conversations revealed that Chyna planned on staying with Rob for one year then leaving him. Along with that, she allegedly talked about how she was not attracted to the reality star and sock mogul.

Does Anyone Care About This Season of RHOBH?

photo courtesy of bravotv.com The new season of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" is just three episodes in and it feels like it should end like yesterday. It is lacking its usual excitement, even with the ever exuberant Erika Jayne and has become more obnoxious than anything. Here is what you need to know, ICYMI!

Alan Thicke Has Passed Away At 69!

photo courtesy of biography.com It is with sincere sadness that we must share the passing of Alan Thicke. He was just 69 when he suffered a heart attack while playing hockey with his 19-year-old son and was said to be responsive and talking as he was being taken away. This comes as quite a shock as he was tweeting just hours prior. Thicke is best-known for his role of Dr. Jason Seaver on the long-running family show "Growing Pains," alongside Joanna Kerns and Kirk Cameron . He recently made an appearance on the Netflix original comedy "Fuller House" alongside Kirk's sister Candace Cameron Bure. Celebs have been showing an outpouring of love and support as well as nostalgia for one of television's favorite fathers and tv theme song writers. ICON! He leaves behind his wife and three sons, one being musician Robin Thicke. 2016 has not been a good year at all for celebs and musicians and we just hope 2017 is a hell of a lot better than this!
