This sucks! As we prepare for the upcoming fourteenth season of "American Idol," the show has now suffered a major loss. Original judge turned mentor Randy Jackson has made the announcement that he will not be returning when the show does in the Winter. "After 13 seasons, I felt now was the perfect time to leave American Idol ," according to a statement. "I'm proud to have been a part of a series that discovered some incredible artists and will go down in history as one of the most successful television shows ever. A true original, Idol started it all. Onto what's next." Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban will still sit in as judges however runner-up Adam Lambert stepped in for Urban when he went to be by wife Nicole Kidman's side when her father passed.
