Credit: Andrew Cuomo Twitter Doing the right thing. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has announced his resignation. This comes on the heels of a handful of sexual assault allegations. Governor Cuomo helped lead the fight against COVID via daily news briefings. He became the voice of reassurance and reason through most of 2020 while keeping New York as safe as he could. It is sad this is the legacy he is leaving behind. His resignation will be effective in two weeks. "The best way I can help is if I step aside and let government get back to the governing," Cuomo shared. More to come as it continues to evolve? Are you surprised he chose to resign?
