Bill Paxton Dead at 61!

photo courtesy of biography.com The Oscars were supposed to be a happy time but for many attendees, their hearts and minds were elsewhere. Earlier, it had been announced that actor Bill Paxton had died due to complications during surgery. He was just 61. His former "Big Love" co-star Ginnifer Goodwin r evealed that she did not want to attend the awards show but it was hubby and co-star, Josh Dallas , who encouraged her to be there. She said that it was Paxton's love for all things Hollywood that made her decision to attend that much easier.  Because he passed after the "In Memoriam" tribute had been compiled, a choked up  Jennifer Aniston gave him a shout out during her intro speech. He was best known for roles in "Twister," HBO's "Big Love," "Aliens," "Titanic," "Apollo 13," and "Tombstone" to name a few. The Emmy winner is survived by his wife Louise and children, James and Lydia. O...

Oscar Night! Snafu's and Winners!

photo courtesy of linkedin.com Jimmy Kimmel hosted the 89th Annual Academy Awards and the show was not without its issues. The opening was amazing; in my opinion, Justin Timberlake  killed it with "Can't Stop the Feeling" from "Trolls" and set the tone for what was to be a fun and exciting night. Kimmel also kept the running joke alive about a feud between he and Matt Damon , which only enhanced the evening. However, the night had some major issues and it totally dominated the event.  First off, like any good "In Memoriam," some were forgotten while others were actually killed off. A woman who works behind the scenes was put in the tribute video when in fact, she is actually alive and well. And we cannot forget how the night ended; definitely as exciting as it opened but in a different way. Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway came out to announce the Oscar for Best Film and they proclaimed "La La Land" to be...

RHOBH Catch Up!

photo courtesy of bravotv.com- Eden Sassoon Okay, so we have watched several episodes of the new season of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and this is what we have to say: can we bring back Camille Grammer ? Is that at all possible? The season has been filled with ill-fated parties and confrontations; fake accents and disingenuous meetings. Quite frankly, I am growing ill of this show because there is not enough draw to keep me going beyond the 35 minute mark. Here's what you may have missed if you've been busy or just don't care to take the time.
