3 Ice Cubes

For the second installment of Music You Missed , I went all the way back to the year 2000. For those of you who remember, there was a track that garnered some decent radio play at the time by Dynamite Hack . It was an acoustic cover of Eazy-E's " Boyz-N-The Hood ."

Johnny Allen Hendrix, better known as Jimi, was born on this day back in 1942. If he were still alive today, Jimi would be 71 if my math skills are correct. In honor of one of the world's greatest guitarists, it's only fitting that he gets a birthday shoutout.

For this week's edition of Who Covered It Better I chose the  Buffalo Springfield classic For What It's Worth . One of the greatest protest songs of all time, For What It's Worth is a tune that is almost impossible to tire of.
