  Credit: Steve Burton Instagram Another big cast member has left 'General Hospital' due to the COVID vaccine mandate. Steve Burton, who played Jason Morgan, revealed he was let go by the series. Earlier today, in an Instagram video , the actor shared he is no longer a part of the long-running soap. ABC, which is owned by The Walt Disney Co., has instituted a vaccine mandate for both salaried and non-union hourly employees, according to SoapHub .  In a statement from the company last summer, they had this to say: "At The Walt Disney Company, the safety and well-being of our employees during the pandemic has been and continues to be a top priority. Toward that end, and based on the latest recommendations of scientists, health officials and our own medical professionals that the COVID-19 vaccine provides the best protection against severe infection, we are requiring that all salaried and non-union hourly employees in the U.S. working at any of our sites be fully vacc...

  Credit: Andrew Cuomo Twitter Doing the right thing. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has announced his resignation. This comes on the heels of a handful of sexual assault allegations. Governor Cuomo helped lead the fight against COVID via daily news briefings. He became the voice of reassurance and reason through most of 2020 while keeping New York as safe as he could. It is sad this is the legacy he is leaving behind. His resignation will be effective in two weeks.  "The best way I can help is if I step aside and let government get back to the governing," Cuomo shared.  More to come as it continues to evolve? She said it was God’s way of thinning the herd and the people who have died this year would have anyways. She’s compared it to the flu, has a disdain for masks; the list goes on. However, it is now hitting very close to home. Her mother, Bobbi is said to have Covid, according to Dodd’s brother, Eric. The matriarch is also said to be in the ICU. Kelly disputes this. She commented on Eric’s social media, claiming their mother blocked her and she spoke to their brother who said Bobbi is fine. The comment has since been deleted. This is a common trend for nonbelievers. We wish Bobbi well and wear a mask!

Along with Tom, his sidekick since 2013 (and season 10 competitor), Erin Andrews was also given the boot, leaving fans skeptical if they would even watch the new season.  Though the show had been renewed, there is no set return date since COVID is not seemingly going anywhere soon, especially in California, where 'DWTS ' is filmed. With this new "creative direction," everyone wondered who would take over the lifeline of the show and now, we have an answer. I feel like all we have been doing is delivering sad news and now here comes some depressing news for 'Dancing With the Stars' fans. Tom Bergeron has announced he will not be returning as host of the hit dancing competition for the 29th season; his co-host, Erin Andrews , won't return, as well. This is not a personal choice for Bergeron or Andrews but rather a decision made by the network, ABC, Tom shared on his Twitter: "Just informed @DancingABC will be continuing without me. It's been an incredible 15 year run and the most unexpected gift of my career. I'm grateful for that and for the lifelong friendships made. It was very different, to say the least and that started with the taglines. Gone is Leah stinging like a bitch and she is much more tame; but why the mid-season change up?
