credit: YouTube Tragic news for  FRIENDS  fans as Matthew Perry aka Chandler Bing has passed away. He was just 54. The actor/author had struggled with addiction for most of his time on the hit sitcom. However, he appeared to have come out on the other side when they did the highly-anticipated reunion on HBO. He then released his memoir,  Friends, Lovers, & the Big, Terrible Thing  which he did a lot of press for. There, he was quite candid about his struggles. According to  People , Perry passed away at his LA home. The cause of death is currently believed to be drowning in his jacuzzi but, as of now, it does not appear that there were any narcotics involved.  FRIENDS  has always remained immensely popular and now, a Central Perk coffeehouse is set to open in Boston. We are sure the tributes will be pouring in as will the shock. Rest in peace, beautiful soul.

The soap star, known for his role on Days of Our Lives as Victor Kiriakis, passed away on 11/11/2022. According to Jennifer's Instagram , she shared how poignant it was that her father would pass on such a beautiful day. She also noted that he died without pain. This year, John was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Daytime Emmys. He leaves behind his wife, Sherry, son, Alex, a stepson, John, and of course, Jennifer. John was 89. Sending love to his family, friends, and to all of his countless fans.

One of our favorite "Friends" is getting ready to walk down the aisle for a second time. Courteney Cox is engaged to Johnny McDaid of the band Snow Patrol . She was previously with Michael Keaton and then married to "Scream" co-star David Arquette from which she has daughter Coco. This now begs the question as to who will walk down the aisle first: Cox or best friend Jennifer Aniston ? Congratulations!

Hollywood darling and super hottie Jennifer Aniston , 45 is once again making news when it  comes to her hair. It started in the nineties with the infamous "Rachel" from "FRIENDS" and then just took on a life of it's own. Now, Aniston has decided to change it up once again by shortening her locks and dying them a bit darker. We love how sleek and sexy her new style is but we are not so sure if this Fall-esque color will work for the summer! What do you think?  

When we get used to an actor/actress on a TV show, it is hard to ever imagine someone else in their place. Yeah, it happens all the time on soap operas but imagine "FRIENDS"  with Jennifer Aniston as Monica; that would have been so weird. Another weird casting we have just learned about comes courtesy of E! . Apparently, "The Vampire Diaries" was supposed to include Ashlee Simpson ...in the pivotal role of Elena! This part eventually went to Nina Dobrev but imagine the blonde bombshell trading places? It may have been that she was on "Melrose Place" that she did not make the cut or that Dobrev nailed it; whatever the reason, we are happy with the choices the show made. After all, would there have been a Nina Dobrev/Ian Somerhalder romance if they hadn't been cast together?
