John Glenn Has Passed Away!

photo courtesy of nasa.gov It is with a heavy heart that we must share the news that astronaut and former Senator John Glenn has died at the age of 95. He was an icon and pillar of strength and inspired so many kids to want to travel to the moon. He died at an Ohio hospital earlier today, per the hospital, less than 20 years after he returned to space at the age of 77. He received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2012, an honor bestowed upon him by President Barack Obama and leaves behind wife Annie as well as two children, John and Carolyn. Our deepest sympathies are with all who knew and loved him. 2016 has not been a good year for famous people as the list just keeps adding up as to whom we have lost! #RIPJohnGlenn

Donald Trump is Elected 45th President of the United States...

photo courtesy of donaldjtrump.com It has taken a few days but I believe that it is time for this post, though the reality still has yet to set in. Donald Trump , former host of "The Apprentice" and "The Celebrity Apprentice," has been elected the 45th President as of early Wednesday morning. Trump, a Republican, is taking over for Democrat Barack Obama , who served two terms, with Joe Biden by his side.  He campaigned for Hillary Clinton , former First Lady, Senator and Secretary of State but sadly, it was not enough. Having been a Hillary supporter since she first ran against Obama, I am saddened. I want to make this extremely clear: I am NOT against Republicans. Reread that and let that sink in. In fact, I do not think many Democrats or other affiliations are again...

Remembering 9/11 15 Years Later!

photo courtesy of wikipedia It is hard to believe that fifteen years have gone by since 9/11 occurred and here we are. Sadly, the focus of today'd memorial was on Democrat Presidential Candidate and former Secretary of State and First Lady Hillary Clinton  passing out. It is said that she was overheated. I can believe that as it is hot as ba**s out there however this is a day where heat nor rain nor pain should keep any one running for public office away from honoring those who are no longer with us. We also cannot forget those who have been left behind in the wake of the tragedy and remember that this could happen again and the next President will have to handle it. Can we re-elect Obama?  In any case, we here at Three Ice Cubes send out our sincere condolences to those who lost their lives in this devastating attack along with those who were there right on the scene as this tragedy unfolded. The police offic...
