The 38-year-old Grammy winner has filed for divorce from Brandon Blackstock , whom she wed in 2013. The couple share two children, River Rose and Remington Alexander, as well as two children from Brandon's prior marriage, Savannah and Seth. Blackstock, 43 has assumed the role of Clakson's manager since they wed so no word on how the divorce will affect their working relationship.  According to paperwork, obtained by The Blast , the date of the filing was June 4th, just four months shy of their seven-year anniversary. The singer, fashion designer, and 'American Idol' judge shared a photo of what appears to be fiance, Orlando Bloom covered in cake frosting, with the simple caption "it's a girl" along with hear emojis surrounding the reveal. This is the couples first child together and Bloom's second as he shares custody of son, Flynn, with ex-wife, Miranda Kerr. We wish Perry and Bloom all the best during this time and you can still catch Katy Sunday nights on 'AI' at 8pm only on ABC.

Tonight is eighties night on "American Idol" and I am a huge eighties fan. To top it off, Boy George from Culture Club is the mentor so I am in heaven right now. Ian Somerhalder of "The Vampire Diaries" is engaged to "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed , we can confirm. This will be the second marriage for Reed who was married to an ex-American Idol contestant while Somerhalder was in a longtime relationship with co-star Nina Dobrev . The couple started dating last year and started adopting animals together. We wish them all the best!

This sucks! As we prepare for the upcoming fourteenth season of "American Idol," the show has now suffered a major loss. Original judge turned mentor Randy Jackson has made the announcement that he will not be returning when the show does in the Winter.  "After 13 seasons, I felt now was the perfect time to leave  American Idol ," according to a statement. "I'm proud to have been a part of a series that discovered some incredible artists and will go down in history as one of the most successful television shows ever. A true original,  Idol  started it all. Onto what's next." Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban will still sit in as judges however runner-up Adam Lambert stepped in for Urban when he went to be by wife Nicole Kidman's side when her father passed. We will miss you Randy-dawg!

No one is really all that shocked that "American Idol" judge/actress and singer Jennifer Lopez is single. After two years of dating a twenty-something back-up dancer  Casper   Smart    after her divorce from Mark Anthony, the duo has decided to go their separate ways. Does this have anything to do with the multiple allegations that he has a thing for cross-dressers? We may never know but we hope that J. Lo does find someone to spend the rest of her life with...or at least the next season of Idol. 

The save was used on Sam Woolf and rightfully so on "American Idol" so who was next to go home now that there are no more saves? Sadly, Malaya Watson was the unlucky contestant who was sent home this evening. We wish her all the best and we will see her on the finale and on tour!

Another one bites the dust! Majesty Rose was eliminated last night on "American Idol," performing "Happy" by Pharrell as her SAVE song. The judges ( Harry Connick, Jr., Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban ) did take the time to deliberate but in the end, Urban revealed: "This has been the hardest deliberation from us. And by a narrow margin, we are not going to use our save tonight." We wish her all the best and will see her on the finale and on tour! Was this the right choice or should they have used the save? He was literally just born but Eric Cowell is already a celebrity! The son of former "American Idol" and "The X Factor" judge, Simon Cowell and girlfriend Laura Silverman has made his photographic debut. He is too cute! 

It's been a rough pregnancy for Kelly Clarkson thus far but now she knows what she is expecting. The "American Idol" alum and husband Brandon Blackstock are going to be welcoming a baby girl later this year. “We just found out we’re having a girl officially! I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!” The 31 year old is already stepmother to Blackstock's two children Seth and Savannah and even his ex-wife, Melissa is confident in her parenting skills. “My kids love her. I couldn’t ask for a better stepmother for my children.” The grandmother will be none other than Reba McEntire. Congratulations.

Say it ain't so! The sexy Australian country singer and husband to Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban has cut his luscious long locks. As he preps for the "American Idol" premiere, the singer, on tour now decided it was time for a change. Or that is what we think since he did not give reason behind his new Twitter shot. I just saw him last week and and his hair was amazing! I'm sure we will get used to this one too! Tell us what you think!

A huge congratulations goes out to "American Idol" season 1 winner Kelly Clarkson . She just announced via Twitter that she and new hubby Brandon are expecting their first child together. "I'm pregnant!!! Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever :)," Clarkson, 31 tweeted at 6:23 p.m. Rumors were swirling that the couple was expecting but neither confirmed nor really denied it! We are so happy for them and for Clarkson who just released a holiday album. She also has a country album in the works for next year!
