In our minds, from the premiere episode, Patricia Arquette and Joey King were Emmy musts as was the limited series. Addicting and it gave you all of the feels, it was gaining award season buzz early on so we were beyond elated today to hear the nominations. Joey King (Gypsy Rose Blanchard) was nominated for Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Television Movie for her role in 'The Act' as the accomplice to her mother's murder after being a victim of munchausen by proxy. For years, Dee Dee had convinced everyone around her, everywhere she went, and pretty much in the world that daughter, Gypsy, was very ill, gaining her fame, notoriety, and a lot of charitable contributions. She claimed she suffered from an array of ailments, forced her to use a wheelchair, shave her head, and undergo unneeded surgeries, as well as take unwarranted meds. People Magazine confirmed the news of the transgender stars death after brother, Richmond, released a statement via Facebook.
