There were plans to celebrate her 100th birthday with a one-day theater special on the big screen. Hopefully, this will be even more powerful now that the living legend has left a legacy. It appears she passed from natural causes but more information as it comes. She was predeceased by her husband, Allen Ludden. The world is a little darker and sadder now that she is gone. Rest in peace, sweet Betty. She always told us on interviews: "Call me Betty, please."

She has had her health issues, which included a bout with colon cancer in 1999; pancreatic cancer 10 years later; a stent in her artery; lung cancer and much more. However, the one thing that remained consistent about RBG was the fact she never missed a day on the bench and made sure she always showed up like a boss. One of the reasons she was seemingly holding on for dear life was to wait for the election so the current president could be voted out and not replace her with more conservative judges. Unfortunately, her little body could not hold on any longer. Nominated by former president Bill Clinton , she hold this post from 1993-2020, predeceased by husband, Martin Ginsburg, who passed in 2010. Television icon and diabetes advocate Mary Tyler Moore has passed away at the age of 80. Most recognized for her starring role on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" as well as "The Dick Van Dyke Show," is survived by husband Robert Levine. Her son sadly passed away in 1980. Her namesake show demonstrated a woman asking for equal pay in the workplace and she would be the first to demand equality. Feminism was her key and she most recently appeared on the now-defunct sitcom "Hot In Cleveland" with former co-star Betty White . We will miss her dearly!

Why I ask, why? Sammi Turano and the crew over at TVGrapevine were the first to alert me of this news and now it saddens me to share it with you, all of my friends. After six amazing seasons, TVLand has made the decision to cancel the Betty White sitcom "Hot In Cleveland."

"Hot in Cleveland" went live for its season 5 premiere on TVLand tonight March 26th. So, how did the women fare? Amazingly well. They tried a live episode last season and it was kind of a flop but tonight, the jokes were coming and they did not stop. From Chester (Victoria's blind day with boobs) being a criminal to Alex Trebek in a few roles to Cedric the Entertainer and a "Golden Girls" joke directed at Betty White , it was completed by Lady Pants! I must say that I laughed out loud and am so proud of this episode. The actual season where all will be revealed with start next Wednesday at 10p.m. Don't miss it! Good job Jane Leeves, Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Malick and the iconic Betty White !
