Her mother confirmed Lisa Marie had died in a statement, according to People: "It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment." Life had not been easy for Lisa Marie, having lost her father at the tender age of 9. She struggled with addiction for many years but the real blow came in 2020. That was when her son, Benjamin, committed suicide.  After that, she seemingly was never the same.
