YouTube Dancing With the Stars has named its first contestants for Season 35. Many names have been thrown around, but now, two are official. The first is Maura Higgins of Love Island and The Traitors fame. She infamously got the winner, Rob Rausch, to buy her a Birkin when he was able to deceive her in Season 4 of The Traitors. Her name had been out there for DWTS as well as for The Bachelorette , so it will be great to see how far she makes it.  The next is Summer House star Ciara Miller. She is smack dab in the middle of the Amanda Batula/West Wilson romance scandal, so her time is now. This all went down on Wednesday, April 22nd, at Hulu's Get Real House event. Instagram The winner of Season 32 of DWTS has been announced and it was truly anybody's game. After showing off the best of the final 5's dances for the whole season, it was time for the big group dance. That meant everyone returned, down to Matt Walsh, to shake it one final time. Then, Ariana Madix, Charity Lawson, Jason Mraz, Xochitl Gomez , and Alyson Hannigan came down on clear ornaments. They started with a redemption dance with Alyson starting the show off. Len Goodman-Credit: YouTube It is a sad day in the DWTS world. Former OG judge Len Goodman has passed away at the age of 78, per ET . At the end of last season, he announced that he would be leaving the long-running series which broke the hearts of many. Though he could be harsh, he had wit and sarcasm to go along with his critiques. Goodman was the perfect blend of good cop/bad cop judge. Now, his departure makes much more sense. Apparently, he had bone cancer but passed peacefully, per his manager, Jackie Gill.  "It is with great sadness to announce that Len Goodman has passed away peacefully, aged 78.  A much-loved husband, father and grandfather who will be sorely missed by family, friends and all who knew him." This statement was initially given to BBC and soon began to circulate. Though fans are just learning about this today, Goodman actually passed over the weekend in hospice. It was even a challenge to find pros since Witney Carson and Lindsay Arnold are both expecting. Along with Tom, his sidekick since 2013 (and season 10 competitor), Erin Andrews was also given the boot, leaving fans skeptical if they would even watch the new season.  Though the show had been renewed, there is no set return date since COVID is not seemingly going anywhere soon, especially in California, where 'DWTS ' is filmed. Tom Bergeron has announced he will not be returning as host of the hit dancing competition for the 29th season; his co-host, Erin Andrews , won't return, as well. This is not a personal choice for Bergeron or Andrews but rather a decision made by the network, ABC, Tom shared on his Twitter: "Just informed @DancingABC will be continuing without me. It's been an incredible 15 year run and the most unexpected gift of my career. I'm grateful for that and for the lifelong friendships made. The entrepreneur and former WWE diva took to her Instagram page just minutes ago to confirm she and boyfriend, Artem Chigvinstev are engaged and have actually been since November! The duo met while paired up on ‘ Dancing With the Stars ’ but Bella, 36 was with John Cena at the time, whom she was ultimately engaged to. The couple were on and off but officially called it quits and often butted heads over their future and children. The winner of season 27 of DWTS was crowned last night and it was definitely a shocker but in a good way. Bobby Bones , the main underdog of the competition and the finals, took home the Mirror Ball Trophy with partner, Sharna Burgess . The radio personality beat out Alexis Ren, Milo Manheim, and Evanna Lynch. Alexis won because she found love with partner, Alan Bersten but one real celebrity, Neil Patrick Harris had something to say about the show. "Dancing With the Stars just confirmed why I don't watch Dancing With the Stars," NPH tweeted. Well, here we go, getting fired up again!  Mr. Patrick Harris, that is not a way to support other people in the industry. Dancing for their lives were Alexis Ren, Joe Amabile, Bobby Bones, Milo Manheim, Juan Pablo Di Pace, and Evanna Lynch . In the end, it came down to Alexis, Joe, and Juan Pablo who were at risk of being sent home and not making it next week's finale. No one expected Juan Pablo to even be in the bottom because he had scored a perfect 60/60 for the evening with partner, Cheryl Burke. In the end, he and Joe were sent home, leaving Alexis safe to dance with Milo, Evanna, and Bobby in the finale. Everyone was clearly and verbally stunned but why? This happens every single season of the show. We lose someone great and then we are kicking ourselves later. People do not vote because they think the one they love is safe and the truth is, the voting window is not open nearly long enough. Yay, "Dancing With the Stars" is seeming to shape up amazingly well for season 23. So far, we have Ryan Lochte , reality star Terra Jole , and "The Brady Bunch" star Maureen McCormick apparently on board to compete for the mirror ball. Now, we have learned that brother and sister phenoms Julianne and Derek Hough will be returning, as well. Julianne will take back her spot as a judge, critiquing her bro's dance moves weekly! The duo went on tour together, showing off their amazing dancing abilities and why they have become fan favorites.  Julianne has also been focusing on her acting/singing career as she appeared in the critically acclaimed "Grease Live!"  and widely panned remake of "Footloose." She is also getting ready to walk down  the aisle.  Brother Derek, had taken a brief hiatus after winning with Bindi Irwin,  his sixth win to date.  Maksim Chmerkovskiy is also returning after four seasons away. As we await the big cast reveal for the upcoming season of "Dancing With the Stars,"  multiple sources have claimed that two "stars" have signed on the dotted line to dance. The first is controversial, twelve-time award winning Olympian Ryan Lochte. This is a desperate attempt to clear his name after some fibs told in Rio during this summer's Olympic games. He is not yet in the clear and has lost sponsorships from four companies including Ralph Lauren and Speedo, which netted him around one million dollars per year. Along with Lochte is Terra Jole, star of "Little Women LA."  Jole, who welcomed her second child this year, would be the first little person to be on DWTS but she is not a stranger to performing. She made a name for herself as a Britney Spears impersonator and definitely knows how to shake what her mama gave her.  

This season of "Dancing With the Stars" has had a lot of injuries (note Jodie Sweetin ) and several upsets (note Wanya Morris sent home right before the finals). It was great to have judge Len Goodman back but it seems as though so many amazing dancers strutted their stuff and then were voted off. Now, we are down to three: model Nyle DiMarco ; MMA fighter Paige VanZant ; and meteorologist Ginger Zee .

We get the feeling that when Andy Grammer recorded "Good To Be Alive (Hallelujah)," he had no idea it would become a holiday anthem. Maybe that is because it was performed on the holiday-themed season twenty-one finale of "Dancing With the Stars." It is also a great workout anthem and just an overall feel good song. It was a crazy good night on "Dancing With the Stars" and by far one of the best Halloween episodes we have yet to see. Guest co-host and former competitor Leah Remini even got the crap scared out of her while interviewing a couple but was commended for not cursing once after she fell over in fear. Sadly, someone had to go home and it came down to Alexa/Mark, Hayes/Emma and Tamar/Val. I was hoping it would be Tamar because I love Val but am not a Tamar fan. Sadly, it was fifteen-year-old Hayes Grier who was sent home after kicking major ass tonight! Do you think the right couple went home? Let us know!

It is the end of the road for "Don't Be Tardy" star Kim Zolciak- Biermann on "Dancing With the Stars" and not due to low scores. As we had previously reported, the thirty-seven year old mother of six had suffered a setback when she experienced a mini-stroke due to a blood clot.  The former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star has told media outlets that this show has saved her life. She was fully prepared to dance last night with partner Tony Dovolani but her doctor would not let her fly from Georgia to California. She appeared via video from her home to discuss what was going on and said that she would be able to return next week. However, according to the legal rules set forth by the "DWTS" legal team, she will not be allowed to return. This is a major set-back but at least she went out with great scores and improvement. Maybe they will give her a chance next season. We wish her all the best!
