Major shake-up at NBC's hit singing competition as it has been revealed that Miley Cyrus will be joining "The Voice" as a coach for next season. For the women coaches, it has been a revolving door of original coach Christina Aguilera (back this season), Shakira, and Team Blake mentor Gwen Stefani. Cyrus is this season's key adviser, which means that she helps the singers for their final prep before they go to the Playoffs. She has loved this role and announced via social media that she will be taking over a seat for season 11. It is presumed that she will fill Aguilera's chair as she is on and off but there is also another female who will be coming on as a coach: Alicia Keys . 

We all know that it is the coaches that do most of the ass kicking on "The Voice" to make the absolute best teams. But don't forget that they do have assistance for the Battle Rounds. For season eight, Team Pharrell Williams will have Lionel Richie; Team Adam Levine will have Ellie Goulding; Team Blake Shelton will have Meghan Trainor and Team Christina Aguilera will have Nick Jonas. This has not been officially confirmed, rumored by US Weekly , but if true, this will be Richie's second season as a mentor. The show returns Monday February 23rd on NBC. You won't want to miss it. No word on who will be the key mentor. So far, they have brought in Chris Martin from Coldplay and Taylor Swift !

With the departure of Cee Lo Green from the hit NBC  singing competition "The Voice," many wondered who would take over Christina Aguilera's coaches seat. The expectant and engaged singer has not publicly said that she was not returning for season seven as Usher and Shakira returned the current season. We know that Pharrell Williams will take over for Cee Lo/Usher and now we are hearing that Gwen Stefani is in serious talks to join the show. TMZ first reported the story and though the show wanted Aguilera, 33 and an original coach to come back, it just was not working out. I am super excited to see if Stefani joins!

The second round of the battles for season six are just beginning this evening on "The Voice" but even bigger happenings are going on behind the scenes. It has been confirmed that Pharrell Williams will be a coach for the upcoming season. This comes a short time after four season vet Cee Lo Green announced that he would never be returning as a coach. Another one bites the dust! Majesty Rose was eliminated last night on "American Idol," performing "Happy" by Pharrell as her SAVE song. The judges ( Harry Connick, Jr., Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban ) did take the time to deliberate but in the end, Urban revealed: "This has been the hardest deliberation from us. And by a narrow margin, we are not going to use our save tonight." We wish her all the best and will see her on the finale and on tour! Was this the right choice or should they have used the save? We cannot be shocked but Pharrell Williams , what is wrong with your pants boy? They do not make me feel "Happy" at all. Did your stylist lose their measuring tape or something? Fabric used for a hat?
