It is a sad day for "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" fans as we must report that James Avery aka Uncle Phil has passed away. He entered heaven on New Year's Eve at the tender age of 65; Alfonso Ribeiro, who played son Carlton had this to say: "I'm deeply saddened to say that James Avery has passed away. He was a second father to me. I will miss him greatly." Avery recently had surgery and according to TMZ, died in a Los Angeles hospital. He will be greatly missed!
