The actress' rep has confirmed her departure from the series after just two seasons. It was clear, this season, she was not the same Denise who stepped onto our screens season nine; carefree and bubbly, not really giving a damn. Instead, she seems to be controlled by her husband, Aaron Phypers , who is convinced he can cure cancer and that they are being followed, and she does not want to deal with anything thrown her way. Instead, Garcelle Beauvais has joined the women and will hold the title as the first African-American BH housewife in 10 years. So, how did the premiere measure up? We present you the good, the bad, and the ugly! THE GOOD : We were hesitant as to how Garcelle would fit in with the women but she is seemingly a fun addition. It started with Taylor and Brandon, who barely walked down the aisle when news of their annulment came out. Then, a few weeks back, Michael and Meka filed for an annulment based on fraud so there goes two out of five couples down before the season was even over. We did see Mindy Shiben tell Zach Justice it was over during the season after he was not physically attracted to her, wouldn't move into their new home, and was found to be flirting with one of her close friends. She ultimately threw a divorce party but the duo were allegedly spotted out together a few months ago and it looked like they may try to fix their broken marriage in the decision day preview. As per usual, the new opening credits were released along with each housewives new tagline and Lisa Rinna is seemingly unhappy with hers. The actress/entrepreneur, who joined the franchise in season five, will be sashaying to these words: "The Secret to Life? Dance Like Everyone is Watching." This appears to be perfect for Rinna, who constantly posts herself dancing on social media and is a fun play on the idea to dance like no one is watching. Friendships are tested as longtime besties, Denise Richards and Lisa Rinna go head-to-head while pregnant Teddi Mellencamp is challenged by newcomer, Sutton. We also see the first African-American of the BH squad, Garcelle Beauvais and it is hard to see if she will dominate or be over these queens. Familiar faces from seasons past are back such as Brandi Glanville, Adrienne Maloof, Kim Richards, Eileen Davidson, morally corrupt Faye Resnick (as if she really left), and Camille Grammer Meyer, whom, after last season, said she would never return. LIESSSSSS. And now, without further ado, the trailer! From Teresa and the girls heading to Italy to see Juicy Joe for the first time since his release from ICE to Melissa sharing it was Teresa who encouraged Danielle to pull Margaret's ponytail, no one is safe. Brandon Reid and Taylor Dunklin have filed for an annulment, just a half hour before the third episode of the season is to air. Though the couple seemed physically attracted to either after they said "I Do" on the Lifetime series, taking place in D.C., they soon became the most awkward couple we have seen in a long time. It was like watching a train-wreck as they sat together, sipping champagne before they went to greet their guests for photos and the reception. People has the court documents which show it was Brandon who filed for the annulment, dated January 2nd, just a day after the season premiere. The date may have been based in legality but Lifetime had this to say: "As with any union, some end up happily ever after, and others don't. We already know Joe Giudice is nowhere closer to coming home and that Danielle Staub is still single while her friendship with Teresa is in the trash but there is so much more no one expected. However, the skepticism did not last long as she quickly became a fan favorite with her down-to-earth behavior, don't-give-a-crap attitude, extreme openness, and hot husband. There was this whole new side to Denise and she was a pleasant treat for viewers so it is no surprise she is returning for another season, the upcoming season 10.
