One of my absolute favorite comedies is going to see a huge shift in its upcoming season; the highly-rated sitcom, 'Mom,' which is now entering its eighth season, is losing one of its main characters. Anna Faris , who plays Christy Plunkett, announced she is leaving the series after being there since day one. In a statement to Us Weekly , the 43-year-old actress had this to say:   “The past seven years on Mom have been some of the most fulfilling and rewarding of my career. I’m so thankful to Chuck [Lorre], the writers and my amazing castmates for creating a truly wonderful work experience. While my journey as Christy has come to an end, allowing me to pursue new opportunities, I’ll be watching next season and rooting for my TV family.” She, along with Oscar-winner, Allison Janney, play mother and daughter and have led this show for seven years, leading it to be picked up for the seventh and eight season...

Such is the case for four of the 'Vanderpump Rules' cast members, most notably Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute , whom have been there since day one. Along with these OGs, newcomers Brett Caprioni and Max Boyens have also been let go and it all has to do with racist remarks from their pasts. Earlier today, Bravo released this: " Bravo and Evolution Media confirmed today that Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni will not be returning to Vanderpump Rules."

As Lisa Vanderpump , and all of SUR and friends, had discovered, Brittany's longtime friendly pastor had made some hurtful comments towards the LGBTQ community. Being that Vanderpump is a huge supporter and Ariana has come out as bisexual, this causes major controversy. Once Lisa addressed her concerns with Jax and Brittany, they made the decision to let the pastor go, mostly to not look like bigots on TV. Instead, they have chosen to go with Lance Bass as the wedding officiator. Yeah, believable. Luke and Kate clearly needed to divorce but had Kate not spoken first, I strongly feel Luke would have tried to get them to work the marriage out. AJ and Stephanie were going to stay together despite his temper because neither wanted to be alone at 37 and 35, respectively. Will and Jasmine were just cut from very different cloths and we knew she would want to stay married but we also knew the groom had checked out weeks ago. She was way too demanding, wanting him to pay for everything and he slept a lot when she wanted someone to be intimate with. It was a mess. The "experts" felt they were making a mistake but after this season, what do they really know?? Jasmine decided she wanted to stay married but Will wanted a divorce. The experts thought it was a mistake but Will just could not get past their lack of communication and other issues.  - Kristine and Keith : stayed together. - Luke and Kate : she went first and said she wanted a divorce; he agreed but we believe he would have chosen to stay married if he had gone first but did not want to look like an ass. He failed. Next Tuesday at 9pm on Lifetime, three months will have gone by and we will catch up with the couples. And Luke's sexuality comes into question! Are you shocked by the results?

The experts truly should be ashamed of themselves for what they did to these eight people but they did create entertaining television so, for viewers, it was worth it. For those directly involved, maybe not so much. Here is what we think will happen when the couples have to make their big decisions as to whether they will stay married or get a divorce (or sue the experts, which would be my avenue of choice): - Will and Jasmine: When they first got onto the show, there was a lot of hope and promise. Then, Jasmine pulled out her version of "gender roles" and Will did not want to be intimate with her, she continued to be super annoying so, in the end, we think...Jasmine will want to stay married and Will will want a divorce. - Stephanie and AJ: They loved each...

We all know that it is the coaches that do most of the ass kicking on "The Voice" to make the absolute best teams. But don't forget that they do have assistance for the Battle Rounds. For season eight, Team Pharrell Williams will have Lionel Richie; Team Adam Levine will have Ellie Goulding; Team Blake Shelton will have Meghan Trainor and Team Christina Aguilera will have Nick Jonas. This has not been officially confirmed, rumored by US Weekly , but if true, this will be Richie's second season as a mentor. The show returns Monday February 23rd on NBC. You won't want to miss it. No word on who will be the key mentor. So far, they have brought in Chris Martin from Coldplay and Taylor Swift !
