Rusty Gear to Debut 'Wondering Why' Music Video on Vevo!

When Rusty Gear released his debut EP, Happy Ending , it was anybody's guess where his catchy hooks and southern charm would take him. A tight band, passion for fishing, and the only thing left you can say to a woman without offending her, Dibba Dibba helped to make up a fun foray into trucker-country. The lead single, Jake Brakes, featured a female hook within the chorus leaving you randomly blurting out "Jake Jake Jake, put on your brakes, brakes, brakes..." Accompanied by legal cover hits from the likes of Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones , Happy Ending has allowed Rusty Gear to move into one of the most beautiful ballads on 2018, the perfect wedding song, in Three Ice Cubes' opinion.  With Wondering Why , a collaboration with Lydia Miller , such powerful lyrics, heartbreak, and crazy love exude through the female voice. It is absolutely thrilling to have watched the evolution of Rusty and now, it's getting even better as we are learning that the vi...

Selena Gomez's Battle With Lupus!

If Hollywood is not talking about her weight or past relationship with Justin Bieber, there is always something going on with former Disney darling Selena Gomez. Now, Gomez, 23 is opening up about something very personal: her battle with lupus. The singer/actress was doing an interview with Billboard when she admitted that she suffered from the illness in 2014. Rumors are swirling now that when she checked into rehab around that time that this could have been the reason as Gomez also talked about chemotherapy. "I was diagnosed with lupus, and I've been through chemotherapy. That's what my break was really about. I could've had a stroke," she revealed. Gomez went on to add that talk of substance abuse being the reason for rehab and her break really hurt her. "I wanted so badly to say, 'You guys have no idea. I'm in chemotherapy. You're assholes.' I locked myself away until I was confident and comfortable again. " We only hope that...

Britney Spears Is Single!

Britney Spears is single again. But it does not look like her loneliness is killing her as she seemed very happy, posing with a Louisiana boy this weekend. The pop superstar just broke up with Charlie Ebersol, whom she seemed so content and happy with. But it seems that he just was not the one. Will Britney ever find a true love again? Will she wed for a third time? She was engaged prior to Charlie so we still have hope. For now, we will just remember the young and fresh Brit Brit!

Song of the Summer- Maroon 5, #Maps

Since "The Voice" won't be returning until the end of September, Maroon 5 has done the next best thing and released the first single off their upcoming album V. "Maps" was released a week ago today and it is our new addiction and favorite song and cannot wait for V to come out September 2nd, 2014. Thank you Adam Levine for making this summer map-tastical!

Music That You Missed - The Slash & Fergie Explanation Edition

Many of you readers may remember the Super Bowl half-time show from 2011; specifically, when the Black Eyed Peas were terrible. It was unfortunate then, that Slash came out to play guitar while Fergie sang "Paradise City" and left everyone scratching their heads as to what the hell was going on. Why was she singing that? Why was he playing guitar with her? The general consensus was that it was a terrible collaboration. Pardon me while I get semi-technical for a second. Fergie may have sounded awful to people listening at home, but that could be on the part of the person who produces the sound mix that gets broadcast to viewers. What they played live is not exactly what you hear on your television. Of course, it could have been awful live too, but most of us weren't there to know. Either way, there is a reason that Slash and Fergie seemed like a good idea to pair up: they have before and the results were amazing. Back in 2010, Slash released his first solo album with a s...

Britney's "Perfume" Released Amidst Controversy!

Britney Spears is celebrating the success of her latest studio album "Britney Jean." Now, she is celebrating the release of her latest single "Perfume" but it is not coming up roses. Joseph Kahn , who has directed many of Spears' videos is upset because he thinks that the Director's Cut should have been released. He feels that the vibe of it is better but he does support the version out now. Maybe if enough of us beg and plead, we will get the uncut video.

Mandi's Open Apology to Miley Cyrus!

As a writer, my opinion has been what has made me feel complete and creative. It has allowed me to express myself in an amazing forum that can let others in on the way I feel and I love that. But there are times when we can be wrong and I am going to be one of the first writers to admit that I am wrong.

Happy Birthday Britney Spears!

Now that she is so in love and starting her career as a Planet Hollywood staple, what better way to honor Britney Spears on her 32nd birthday with a throwback video! Happy Birthday!

Song of the Week: Kings of Leon - Beautiful War

For this installment of Song of the Week, I had to choose Beautiful War by the Kings of Leon, after seeing the newly released video for it. From their recent album Mechanical Bull,  this is a great song with understated guitar lines that cross and slowly build.

Song of the Week - Hollywood Undead: Levitate (Digital Dog Club Mix)

As I'm slowly working my way back to the current music scene for the Song of the Week , I came across this on my iTunes playlist and realized that there is a large audience out there who probably missed what is an absolutely amazing dance track.
