3 Ice Cubes

Well, Mick Jagger is certainly a fertile fellow, isn't he now? The 72-year-old front man of "The Rolling Stones " is expecting his eighth child with his girlfriend, 29-year-old Melanie Hamrick. His eldest child is 45 while his youngest is 17 and he just became a great-grandfather last year. This man won't stop until he is in his grave and we have to give him props for keeping on keeping on. He is also father to model Georgia May Jagger. Congratulations to the expectant couple. 

It has been a tough year in music...and it is only the middle of January. We have lost so many but the one that I thought I was being punked on was David Bowie , who died at age 69. I never really got to do a Three Ice Cubes proper tribute to the icon who brought us Ziggy Stardust and even some romantic scandal between he and Mick Jagger. Here is my favorite Bowie song, sung by my favorite artist, Rob Thomas. Rest In Peace, David for you were game-changer in music who transcended generations and will continue to live on. XO

L'Wren Scott , designer and stylist to the stars, who hanged herself last week, has left her nine million dollar estate to...her boyfriend, Mick Jagger. Yes, THAT Mick Jagger from The Rolling Stones .

It was presumed that L'Wren Scott had taken her own life at the beginning of the week but there was no definite confirmation. Now we can finally confirm that she did in fact commit suicide.

Nobody knew what would happen once Mick Jagger  discovered that his girlfriend of ten years (and famous celebrity dresser), L'Wren Scott had committed suicide. We had heard that he was extremely devastated as he and his band The Rolling Stones are on tour. It was Facebook that was the outlet he chose to use to express his feelings. 

It's a sad day as we must report that Mick Jagger's girlfriend of a decade L'Wren Scott has passed away at age 49. The reason: an apparent suicide with no reason given. Not only was she Jagger's longtime companion but she was also an icon in the fashion world having worked with everyone from Nicole Kidman to the first lady. She even collaborated with Bobbi Brown cosmetics and Banana Republic . Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour had this to say upon hearing the news:  “I am deeply saddened by the loss of L’Wren Scott. L’Wren was a total perfectionist, someone who absolutely embodied everything her marvelous clothes stood for: strength of character combined with a confident and powerful style. In person, L’Wren was always unbelievably generous, gracious, kind, and so much fun. Her old world American manners and charm were from another time, but her sensibility was always fiercely modern.
