How Did CBS End 'Mom'- May 13?

Credit: Mom CBS Instagram   For ' Mom' fans, it was a bittersweet evening. On the one hand, we could not wait to see what comedic genius the writers would come up with for the series finale. On the other hand, it was the series finale. After eight seasons, we have come to love these characters like a family and now they have been ripped from us. Chuck Lorre has said to continue, it would be too expensive. It's still a tragedy. This season, even with Anna Faris gone, has been phenomenal. The addition of Kristen Johnston was a brilliant move and Beth Hall has had a voice like no other. So, how did CBS end 'Mom' after all these year? -Andy and Jill got married in the town hall -Adam has lung cancer but they caught it early -Tammy was able to confront the judge who sent her to jail and tell him how great she is doing  -Bonnie saw a new selfless side of her and realized how far she has come and truly loves herself (hasn't she always?) It was not the best ending for ...

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Announce Sex of Baby #2!

Credit: en.wikipedia.org Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah has already been filled with bombshells. But one happy revelation that has come from the CBS interview is the sex of baby number two with husband, Prince Harry. The two are already parents to son, Archie. Meghan suffered a miscarriage last summer so this pregnancy has been a blessing. So, what are the duo having? Harry excitedly revealed baby number two is a girl and is arriving over the summer. Congrats to the happy couple!

'Mom' Ending After 8 Seasons- Cast Reacts!

courtesy of cbs.com 'Mom' is officially coming to an end after eight seasons on CBS. This is a crushing blow for longtime fans of the hit comedy series. The signs were there when Allison Janney and Anna Faris signed contracts taking them through season eight. But, Janney told Ellen DeGeneres the other day, she would love to keep telling stories as long as she could. Apparently, the clock was ticking. The ensemble comedy is currently the fourth highest-rated on CBS so there is really no need for it to end. And Anna Faris being absent for the current season has very little to do with it, in our opinion. If anything, we have gotten to know the other characters much better. The series finale will air May 6th. No word on just how but Kristen Johnston, who plays Tammy Diffendorf, has already tweeted how sad she is . But, she thanked their fans who are truly devastated. We still have two-and-a-half months left so let's hope the best is yet to come!

Anna Faris Leaving 'Mom'- Will Not Appear on Upccoming Season!

photo courtesy of cbs.com Hey 2020- stop attacking us! One of my absolute favorite comedies is going to see a huge shift in its upcoming season; the highly-rated sitcom, 'Mom,' which is now entering its eighth season, is losing one of its main characters. Anna Faris , who plays Christy Plunkett, announced she is leaving the series after being there since day one. In a statement to Us Weekly , the 43-year-old actress had this to say:   “The past seven years on Mom have been some of the most fulfilling and rewarding of my career. I’m so thankful to Chuck [Lorre], the writers and my amazing castmates for creating a truly wonderful work experience. While my journey as Christy has come to an end, allowing me to pursue new opportunities, I’ll be watching next season and rooting for my TV family.” She, along with Oscar-winner, Allison Janney, play mother and daughter and have led this show for seven years, leading it to be picked up for the seventh and eight season...

'The Big Bang Theory' Delivered the Best Series Finale!

photo courtesy of flickr.com Last Thursday, the world said good-bye to 'The Big Bang Theory' after 12 seasons. It was the longest running multi-camera sitcom and fans, along with the cast, were extremely devastated but we were promised a sufficient ending. Our hope is that you have watched the series finale of the CBS smash hit by now or you will be upset to learn some spoilers but here they go: Penny and Leonard learned they were expecting despite the fact Penny was not so sure she ever wanted to have kids; Amy and Sheldon won the Nobel Peace Prize; Raj ended up single but gave Amy a fashionable make-over; and the elevator finally worked after all these years. But, it was during Amy and Sheldon's acceptance speech where the waterworks could not help but flow. Sheldon looked out and acknowledged the importance of each and every one of his friends (co-stars) and this truly showed the bond between all of them. All loose ends were tied up when the series ended and ever...

"The Big Bang Theory" Coming to an End!

photo courtesy of flickr.com All good things must come to an end and even the most beloved television shows are no exception. Today, it was announced that the upcoming season of "The Big Bang Theory" would be the series' last.  “We are forever grateful to our fans for their support of The Big Bang Theory during the past twelve seasons. We, along with the cast, writers and crew, are extremely appreciative of the show’s success and aim to deliver a final season, and series finale, that will bring The Big Bang Theory to an epic creative close," WBTV and Chuck Lorre Productions said in a joint statement.  2018-2019 will be the 12th season for the show revolving around science nerds living in California and their struggles to find and keep love while meeting their favorite celebrities, sci-fi icons and uncovering new and (to them) exciting scientific discoveries. It made household names out of Jim Parsons (and made him a constant Emmy fave), Kunal Nayyar, Meli...

"2 Broke Girls" Star Engaged!

A super big congrats goes out to "2 Broke Girls" Beth Behrs. As she is wrapping up her off-Broadway stint, she is opening up a new chapter of her life as she has announced her engagement to actor Michael Gladis. Name sound familiar? Gladis, 38, starred on the now-defunct hit show "Mad Men." The couple have been together for six years and Behrs, 30, was surprised with the proposal on the rooftop of actress Christina Hendricks along with a live band. Beth shared the happy news while celebrating with friends, on Twitter. We wish the couple all the best and cannot wait for season 6 of CBS' "2 Broke Girls" to return in the Fall! I wonder if Kat Dennings aka Max on 2BB will be a bridesmaid!

How Did Season 5 of "2 Broke Girls" End??

If you are an avid "2 Broke Girls" fan like I am, you may have been super sad to say good-bye to season five. Fortunately, we know that there will be a season six so all is right with the world. ICYMI: this is how CBS ended the hit Thursday night show and trust me, it had all the feels.

Mandi Reacts to Sheldon and Amy's First Time on "The Big Bang Theory"

The moment Sheldon and Amy fans have been waiting for: the couple finally had sex...or coitus if you are Sheldon. On "The Big Bang Theory," it seemed that everyone had been sexually active, two of the couples are even married but Sheldon had yet to give himself to Amy. When he went to talk to Penny and Bernadette about what he should get his beloved for her birthday, he went through two lame options before bringing up coitus.  That caused Penny to break her wine glass, literally shattered it. The girls spoiled the present for Amy because she wanted them to take her for Mexican food while Penny insisted she get a bikini wax. When it was shared that Sheldon was going to have sex with Amy, she was all ready to get waxed. The other guys, including Wil Wheaton, went to the premiere of the new "Star Wars" movie. So, how did the coitus go?

Tony Wins "Survivor: Cagayan" 5/21/14

Tony played one hell of a game on this season of "Survivor: Cagayan" and it paid off. He betrayed everyone and used blind sides like they were going out of style but was taken to the final two with Woo. That was a huge mistake on Woo's behalf because Tony truly encompassed what it means to be a Survivor and how to play the game. He now can buy his baby girl a pink chandelier with his one million dollars. Congratulations!

David Letterman's Replacement Announced!

It's official: Stephen Colbert will be taking over "Late Night With David Letterman" as of 2015. We had a feeling it would be someone along the lines of Jon Stewart or such but are thrilled with this outcome.

What Was the Twist Behind the "How I Met Your Mother" Finale?

We know what we have learned from the series finale of "How I Met Your Mother" but there were a few things that we did not know. For example, all of the scenes with Ted's teenage kids were filmed during the first season for age issues. And second of all, Josh Radnor aka Ted has his own thoughts on the epic finale, which he knew about all along. Most did not want to know how the series would end but Radnor stayed in the loop and pretty much knew what the final outcome would be from day 1:

"How I Met Your Mother" Series Finale Highlights!

Tonight was the series finale of the long-running comedy "How I Met Your Mother" and after nine seasons, everyone was ready for answers. So, what did the finale teach us? We picked the top 10 things that really stood out (and will help you at the water cooler tomorrow at work):

"Roseanne" Star Ties the Knot!

It was a big weekend for former "Roseanne" star Sara Gilbert as she tied the knot. Gilbert, 39 and singer/songwriter Linda Perry wed yesterday, according to PEOPLE. The duo have been dating for nearly three years and became engaged a year ago; it was Perry, 48 who did the proposing.

Mila and Ashton Reunite on TV!

We haven't seen them on TV together since "That '70's Show" but CBS is about to change that for fans of Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher . The couple will shine again on Kutcher's comedy "Two and a Half Men" and she is set to play his love interest. Would we have it any other way since they were Jackie and Kelso in love for so long? The duo just became engaged and we are so stoked to see them back in action. Demi Moore appeared alongside Kutcher on "Saturday Night Live" poking fun at their May/December romance and now they are Hollywood history. Hopefully that won't be the case for Mila and Ashton as they have, as aforementioned played lovers before!

Tyson Apostol WINS "Survivor: Blood vs. Water" 12/15/13

For those of us who have watched "Survivor: Blood vs. Water" from the beginning, it is no shock who the winner was. It came down to Gervase, Monica and Tyson but in the end, it was Tyson Apostol , 34 who took home the million dollars. Apostol played the game with his girlfriend before she left. Tears filled his eyes as he held Monica's hand and Jeff Probst read the results. Congratulations Tyson!
