The former 'Baywatch' bombshell and Playboy icon, announced her separation from her fourth husband, Jon Peters in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter : "I have been moved by the warm reception to Jon and my union. We would be very grateful for your support as we take some time apart to re-evaluate what we want from life and from one another. Life is a journey and love is a process. With that universal truth in mind, we have mutually decided to put off the formalization of our marriage certificate and put our faith in the process. Thank you for respecting our privacy." 

photo courtesy of flickr.com Hollywood is mourning the unexpected passing of legendary actor, Burt Reynolds . He was 82. According to his manager, Erik Kritzer, who spoke with The Hollywood Reporter , Reynolds passed early this morning at Jupiter Medical Center located in Florida. Aside from being part of one of Hollywood's power couples with Loni Anderson (they split in 1994 after six years of marriage), he was a force to be reckoned with. His most notable roles included Deliverance, Smokey and the Bandit , and his Oscar-nominated role in Boogie Nights . On television, he was a fan favorite on Evening Shade , for which he took home an Emmy Award. He leaves behind a son, Quinton, 30 from his marriage to Anderson. Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones, friends, family and all of his fans across the world.
