With the departure of Cee Lo Green from the hit NBC  singing competition "The Voice," many wondered who would take over Christina Aguilera's coaches seat. The expectant and engaged singer has not publicly said that she was not returning for season seven as Usher and Shakira returned the current season. We know that Pharrell Williams will take over for Cee Lo/Usher and now we are hearing that Gwen Stefani is in serious talks to join the show. TMZ first reported the story and though the show wanted Aguilera, 33 and an original coach to come back, it just was not working out. I am super excited to see if Stefani joins!

The second round of the battles for season six are just beginning this evening on "The Voice" but even bigger happenings are going on behind the scenes. It has been confirmed that Pharrell Williams will be a coach for the upcoming season. This comes a short time after four season vet Cee Lo Green announced that he would never be returning as a coach. It sure looks that way for original " The Voice " judge Christina Aguilera . The Grammy award winning singer just announced her engagement to boyfriend of four years Matthew Rutler on Valentine's Day as rumors flew that she was expecting. The focus then shifted to judge Cee Lo Green announcing that he would not be returning to the show as a judge ever again. Now, Rutler's mother has made a few comments that seem to confirm the baby news. Aguilera returned for the 5th season of the NBC show with a super slimmed down look. She is now on hiatus for season 6 as she alternates with Shakira ! We are looking forward to seeing if Aguilera's son Max will be getting a sibling!

Season 6 of NBC's "The Voice " returns Monday but one person who won't be sitting in a judge's chair is Cee Lo Green ...ever again! The original show judge who was on the panel for 4 seasons began taking turns with Usher during season 4 and this upcoming one. It looked like they would keep rotating as Christina Aguilera and Shakira have done but Green confirmed on Ellen that he won't be returning. Though he will still be in development with the network, he didn't want to wear out his welcome! We are gonna miss you, your colorful style and your animals Cee Lo!

It came down to Matthew Schuler (Christina), Caroline Pennell (Cee Lo) and Ray Boudreaux (Blake) but in the end, the Twitter Insta-save could only be used on one person. It looked like it would be Caroline, the last remaining member of Team Cee Lo based on tweets. However, it was Matthew Schuler (my vote) who rounded out the top 6, sending Ray and Caroline home. This leaves: Team Adam - James Wolpert, Tessanne Chin and Will Champlin ; Team Blake - Cole Vosbury ; Team Christina- Jacquie Lee and Matthew Schuler and Team Cee Lo - 0! So exciting! And then there was eight! Tonight, the singers on "The Voice" went from ten to eight and in the bottom three was Austin Jenckes (Blake), Kat Robichaud (Cee Lo) and Caroline Pennell (Cee Lo). It was up to America to decide, using Twitter as to who would stay and who would be sent packing. Last week, Kat was saved and this week, it was Caroline who stayed for another week. This sent Austin and Kat home, leaving both Team Christina and Team Adam in tact, not losing anyone. Team Cee Lo is down to just one singer and Team Bake is down to two. Here is who remains: Tessanne Chin, James Wolpert, Will Champlin from Team Adam; Caroline Pennell from Team Cee Lo; Cole Vosbur y and Ray Boudreaux from Team Blake and from Team Christina, Matthew Schuler and Jacquie Lee . Even with the new Twitter twist, it was not enough to save Jonny Gray and Josh Logan from being sent home on "The Voice." During the last ten minutes, the power was turned over to the audience, again, and this time it was all about tweeting. The bottom three: Josh, Jonny and Kat Robichaud fell victim and soon the votes were in and Kat was saved. This means that both Team Adam and Team Blake have their full teams while Christina and Cee Lo are each down a person! Did you vote?
