photo courtesy of linkedin.com Jimmy Kimmel hosted the 89th Annual Academy Awards and the show was not without its issues. The opening was amazing; in my opinion, Justin Timberlake  killed it with "Can't Stop the Feeling" from "Trolls" and set the tone for what was to be a fun and exciting night. Kimmel also kept the running joke alive about a feud between he and Matt Damon , which only enhanced the evening. However, the night had some major issues and it totally dominated the event.  First off, like any good "In Memoriam," some were forgotten while others were actually killed off. A woman who works behind the scenes was put in the tribute video when in fact, she is actually alive and well. And we cannot forget how the night ended; definitely as exciting as it opened but in a different way. Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway came out to announce the Oscar for Best Film and they proclaimed "La La Land" to be...

"Revenge" had it's series finale last night on ABC after four seasons and we were assured that there would be at least two deaths. We got lucky! Here is who was six feet under by 11p.m.: David Clarke from Lymphoma Victoria Grayson from being shot by David Ben from being killed by Courtney Love So, we had three deaths and there could have been more but luckily, Jack and Amanda rode off into the sunset after getting married. After Jack had been stabbed, David came to see him in the hospital and asked for his blessing to marry Amanda. Of course he said yes. She also reunited with Charlotte, straight out of rehab and we still do not know if Louise is crazy or sane or a little of both. They did leave the window open at the end as Amanda turned her business of revenge over to Nolan. He could not have been happier and maybe he will get a spin-off!! 

Since Kristin Cavallari and NFL husband Jay Cutler reunited a few years back, they had a son, got married and then welcomed another son. Now, baby boys Camden and Jaxon will have a new playmate as Cavallari has announced that she and Cutler are expecting their third child. She's still in teeny shorts and looks flawless so clearly...we hate her but we are so excited and hope it is a girl. Too much testosterone in that house! Congratulations to the happy couple and we wish you only the best. By the way, this is not K. Cav's only baby she is working on. She is in the process of completing a book, which we cannot wait to read and do not forget to download her app and check out her jewelry line!

Kim Kardashian West recently debuted a super cute choppy cut, most likely inspired by husband Kanye West. He seems to dictate everything in her life so when she stepped out with platinum locks this past week, everyone was taken aback. Then, she went a step further and went basically white. My concern is for her hair. She has gone from super dark to ombre back to dark back to ombre back to black, changing extensions in between. And now she has double processed her hair to blonde and I'm wondering when we will start seeing chunks fall out. Poor Kim...she has no mind of her own and now the bleach really added to that!

Listen up "Teen Mom 2" cast: always make sure that what you are doing when it comes to your job is either legal or up to code! This past season, we saw dedicated student Chelsea Houska almost get denied her esthetician (sp) license for supposedly helping a friend with an event on the side. She did end up getting it and went on to work at a plush spa. Now, Leah Messer Calvert is following in Chelsea's footsteps but this time, there may be NO license in her future...EVER. Leah and her friends have been reportedly operating a salon-like business without any certifications or licenses. Leah is apparently in her first year of cosmetology school but that in no way allows her to run any type of styling company. There are provisions to the rules that she and friends ignored so now they are being investigated and I cannot wait to hear the outcome. Wait...she worked for Mary Kay so she is more than qualified! Duh!

Sean Penn is getting ready to be a daddy again but this time, the child is already here. Penn, 54 has filed a court petition to legally adopt his new fiancee Charlize Theron's son Jackson, 3. Theron had adopted Jackson and now, the duo is talking more babies. Penn has already been married twice: Madonna and Robin Wright with whom he had two children with. His daughter Dylan is 23 and son Hopper is 21. Penn and Theron reportedly became engaged in November of 2014. We wish them all the best as they enter into this new chapter of life!

The biggest question right now is why would the cast of "The Cosby Show" stand behind alleged rapist Bill Cosby . Well, let's see: the show is heavily in reruns and if any of the cast were to support claims against the Jell-O man, they could risk the show being pulled. That could then cut their residuals and the money that they most likely live on. That is why Cosby continues to deny what has happened because look at what happened when Stephen Collins of "7th Heaven" admitted he was a molester. His show got pulled and some cast members saw their financial livelihood go out the door. Think about it...

Netflix has just received some revamping courtesy of two new iconic sitcoms joining their roster. The first fifty episodes of "Roseanne" are now available to stream and all TEN seasons of "FRIENDS" are there for your pleasure as well. Perfect for a cozy night in or just a regular evening of Netflix binging! "Cheers" and "Wings" can also be enjoyed which will make "Frasier" and Tim Daly fans jump for joy! Enjoy

Chris Rock is officially separated from his wife  Malaak Compton-Rock after nearly two decades of marriage. Malaak, a philanthropist and founder of styleWorks chose to release this following statement: "After much contemplation and 19 years of marriage, Chris and I have decided to go our separate ways. Being fortunate enough to lead a life of service by working with those most vulnerable makes me well aware of life's blessings, even when faced with difficulties. While recognizing that this is a significant change, my children remain at the center of my life and their well-being is my top priority. It is in this spirit that I sincerely ask that their privacy and the privacy of our family be respected during this transition in our lives." The comedian is currently starring in the hit "The Top Five" and he and Malaak have two daughters, 12 and 10. We wish them all the best during a very difficult time in their lives.

Why I ask, why? Sammi Turano and the crew over at TVGrapevine were the first to alert me of this news and now it saddens me to share it with you, all of my friends. After six amazing seasons, TVLand has made the decision to cancel the Betty White sitcom "Hot In Cleveland."

Jennifer Lopez may be single at the moment but her ex-husband Mark Anthony is the furthest thing from that. The singer/actor wed his girlfriend Shannon De Lima . This is his third or fourth time at the altar but we wish him all the best as a newlywed! As you may or may not have heard, Lopez has recently revealed that her break-up with Ben Affleck was a huge heartbreak for her. We hope that she too finds love and happiness.

It is a sad day in TVLand for "Welcome Back Kotter" as series star Marcia Strassman has passed away. She was 66. The actress, who played Gabe Kaplan's wife on the show that helped to launch John Travolta , died from breast cancer according to her sister. Strassman joins WBK co-stars Robert Hegyes and Ron Palillo in heaven. She is also remembered for her role as the mother in "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" as well as its sequel. Many friends, including Cher tweeted their sadness as well as condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with all who knew and loved her!

It was devastating when we learned that Elizabeth Pena had passed away at age 55 earlier this month. She had been playing Sofia Vergara's mother on "Modern Family" so it was a major blow to fans who have followed her career. We have now learned what the cause of death was: she died of cirrhosis of the liver from alcohol. She leaves behind her husband Hans Rolla and two children. If you know anyone who is suffering with alcohol addiction, please do not hesitate to find help. There is always a way!

Jessica Simpson is about to have another baby to spoil...but not in the way that you think. Jessica's best friend, Cacee Cobb and husband Donald Faison have announced that they will be expecting their second child. Simpson and Cobb were both pregnant at the same time with baby boys; the announcement was made via Instagram. We cannot wait to see this precious baby! Congratulations!

It is with great sadness that we must announce that actress Elizabeth Pena has passed away. The "La Bamba" actress was just 55.

She just confirmed that she was expecting twins and now Zoe Saldana is sharing the sex of her babies with hubby Marco Perego : they will be having two boys! Saldana is currently promoting her new film "The Book of Life" and has no problem saying that she is not sure if she is ready to be a mom. But she knows that the day will come sooner rather than later so she might as well embrace it. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Now that it is official that Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are parents to a baby girl, one of the biggest questions has to be: what is this genetically blessed child's name? Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher is the first daughter for both of them though he had much practice with ex-wife Demi Moore's three daughters. We are dying to see the pictures!

Looks like the stork has finally flown in for Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher. Rumors are spreading that the engaged duo welcomed their first baby, a girl, Tuesday evening. We do know that Ashton just became an uncle so it was only a matter of time. We are very excited to hear more details and will keep you updated the more that we know!

He walked away the winner on season eight of "Big Brother" but now "Couples Therapy" participant Evel Dick Donato   is coming clean about another big part of his life: he is HIV positive. He learned this information via blood tests that were taken during his season 13 return to "Big Brother" yet left abruptly. He was told by producers in the confessional and immediately left to be with his mother. On tonight's episode, he will reveal his secret but claims he got it via unprotected sex with a woman, wanting to break all stigmas. His girlfriend has tested negative. We wish him all the luck.

Despite the years of speculations about John Travolta's sexual preference and at this point, he is so sweet, who really cares; we have figured out the one clue that everyone has seemed to overlook. We joked and laughed when he said Idina Menzel's name wrong at the Academy Awards but stop and think...would any legitimately gay man not know how to pronounce of of Broadway's Queens names properly? It would roll of off of their tongues. Furthermore, she was in "Frozen," which has become an entity all in of itself. There you have it, mystery solved. Go one with your day and LET IT GO!
