She is survived by her sister, Ronny Hallin and daughter, Tracy Reiner, 54 as well as five grandchildren. She was predeceased by brother, Garry Marshall , who passed in July 2016 and, like his sister, was a household name. Penny was featured on "The Odd Couple" as Myrna Turner but it was her turn as Laverne DeFazio on "Happy Days" that secured a spot in America's hearts and led to the spin-off "Laverne and Shirley."
