credit: Instagram It is time for the long-awaited Season 2 And Just Like That finale . This means that Kim Cattrall will finally be reprising her role as Samantha Jones. Of course, fans know that she had opted to not be a part of the reboot. Her character was sent off to London and communicated infrequently, mainly in times of crisis.  There have been many crises in the two seasons yet she has not really come running. Then, it came out that she would have a small cameo in the Season 2 finale and fans wondered what her role would be. It is well-known that she and Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie Bradshaw) do not get along so her presence has been covered by new cast members. It still felt a little off with her not around.  However, knowing the backstory between her and the cast, plus how she felt about the show at this time in her life, having her back felt a bit like a sham. The cast, which included Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis, all gathered together for the limited series. All scripts were collected at the end of the read, according to an Instagram post. Davis was allegedly late, as she commented on Parker's social media.
