Song of the Week - Hollywood Undead: Levitate (Digital Dog Club Mix)

As I'm slowly working my way back to the current music scene for the Song of the Week, I came across this on my iTunes playlist and realized that there is a large audience out there who probably missed what is an absolutely amazing dance track.

For those who don't know, Hollywood Undead are a group of versatile musicians who make everything from rap/rock hybrids to acoustic music. In addition, the group includes American Idol Season 9 alum Daniel Murillo who left Idol in order to join the band. This particular song comes from their first remix album entitled American Tragedy Redux. Digital Dog are an EDM duo who have produced and remixed for everyone from Timbaland to Katy Perry and Britney Spears. Both groups have some serious credentials and the end result of this collaboration is a remix great for listening to while getting ready to go out or even better, listening to at the club while you are out. Just try to get past the slightly creepy video and enjoy the actual song.
