Peacock Capitalizing On 'RHONY' Success

Peacock is capitalizing on the success of the new RHONY ladies. Though many were skeptical about the reboot, it seems to have paid off quite well. So much so that a little switch has been announced. The next RHUGT was supposed to take place in Morocco. It carried so much drama that fans actually did not care as much for the third installment starring Leah McSweeney, Gizelle Bryant, Whitney Rose, Porsha Williams, Marysol Patton, and more. The reason for the excitement over the fourth installment was an incident in Morocco between Brandi Glanville and Caroline Manzo that led both to leave early. Then, it was announced that the fifth installment would be a rebranded version of RHONY Legacy

Several former NY housewives would be going to St. Barths. This included Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, Kelly Bensimon, and more. Well, with the success of the new RHONY, the decision has been made to put out the NY RHUGT first. Per Peacock's Instagram: "We're in a New York state of mind. As a thank you to the fans for all of the support for #RHONY and #CrappieLake, the next season of #RHUGT will be RHONY Legacy coming this December on Peacock! And then we'll see you in Morocco in 2024."

Are you excited for this announcement or were you amped for Brandi versus Caroline? Share your thoughts!
