Guess she will be listening to some of her own hit break-up songs over the next few months as news has broken that Kelly Clarkson is now a single woman. The 38-year-old Grammy winner has filed for divorce from Brandon Blackstock, whom she wed in 2013. The couple share two children, River Rose and Remington Alexander, as well as two children from Brandon's prior marriage, Savannah and Seth. Blackstock, 43 has assumed the role of Clakson's manager since they wed so no word on how the divorce will affect their working relationship.
According to paperwork, obtained by The Blast, the date of the filing was June 4th, just four months shy of their seven-year anniversary. Along with an phenomenal singing career, launched after Kelly became the first ever 'American Idol' winner, she recently began her own talk show, which has received rave reviews, landing the show several Daytime Emmy Nominations, including one for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host. She's also become a fan favorite as a winning coach on 'The Voice.' We wish them all the best during this difficult time.
