"We were playing music for him and he passed during David Bowie's Starman. As per his wishes, we cheered at the moment that he transitioned to another dimension. I am feeling immense gratitude to have been afforded the luxury of sharing life with him/her, for learning from Alexis, for being given the gift of being able to love him/her and to be loves by him/her. He was a force."
You may remember Alexis, who was just 47, for his portrayal of a Boy George wannabe in "The Wedding Singer." He was a part of Adam Sandler's character's wedding band and always was booed for his rendition of "Do Ya Really Want To Hurt Me?" He was also a featured star on the VH1 reality series "The Surreal Life" and in the film adaptation of the Steinbeck novel "Of Mice And Men."
Alexis was also a member of the very prominent Arquette family, which includes brother David and sisters Patricia and Rosanna. Arquette's latest acting credit was in 2014's blended and the cause of death is unknown but apparently quick. We are extremely saddened by this, as Alexis was a talent beyond words but we just hope that David Bowie welcomed Alexis "home" with open arms!
