Who did not want a maid like Alice on "The Brady Bunch" as she was sweet, quirky and fun? Well, now she is Heaven's maid as Ann Bradford Davis aka Alice has passed away at the age of 88.
She played the role of Alice for five years, just ten years after starring on "The Bob Cummings Show" as Charmaine "Schultzy" Schultz. Twenty-two years ago, Davis revealed that everyone in the world wanted an Alice: "All of us wish we had an Alice. I wish I had an Alice." Trivia: the actress had an identical twin sister named Harriet. As of late, Davis had been living off of her SAG pension, even purchasing a flashy car. But it was a recent fall that could have started the end for her. Florence Henderson, who played Mrs. Brady released a statement, saying that she was deeply saddened. Davis is the second member of the series to pass as Robert Reid, who played Mr. Brady died a few decades ago from the HIV/AIDS. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the fans of the show and all those who loved her!
