Mandi's Thoughts On the Season Premiere of "Dancing With the Stars"

"Dancing With the Stars" was back in full-force last night and the one thing that was missing was the lovable Len Goodman. Left judging is Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and pro turned judge Julianne Hough. It's an odd mix but Tonioli was able to keep the fun alive. So, there are about a dozen couples dancing but three stuck out for me and here is why:

Most Surprisingly Fabulous Dancer:
Bindi Irwin and partner Derek Hough- The former "Crocodile Hunter" star and daughter of late Steve Irwin is now seventeen. She was the first celeb confirmed for this season and she claimed to be more scared of the judges than crocodiles. Turns out that she had nothing to worry about as she was amazing! I was so surprised with how impressive she was and how in tune she was with Hough. She is a force to be reckoned with because not only is she super charming, sweet and dedicated but she is also a natural. I predict finals for her.

Most Surprisingly Bad Dancer:
Kim Zolciak-Biermann- poor thing. She has an amazing personality, she is great at having children and she has made wearing wigs a united act. She's got a knack for wigs and picking a great husband in Atlanta Falcons Kroy Biermann but on the dance floor, she was a snooze. Her dynamic persona was hindered by nerves and tears and insecurities and she has to remember that she is such a fun person that she just has to let herself go and enjoy being on the show or she will be the first to go.

The One Who Needs to Stay For Entertainment Factor:
Gary Busey- he explained what the breakdown of the letters for FUN happen to be and he is fun personified. Yes, he is off his rocker but he is so entertaining and just free that you cannot help but cheer for him. He is having fun and though he is as not so good as Kim, he shows that he is free and just happy to be there. He was in the moment and let everything else go. For that alone, he should stick around at least for a few weeks.

Most Shocking Fan Reaction:
Nick Carter- the Backstreet Boy danced with Sharna Burgess and though he is married, the chemistry was undeniable. On top of that, both Sharna and Julianne fan-girled when they saw Nick in the flesh. He had been on their walls for years and they even threw in some BSB moves, which kept Bruno moving and shaking. He could be up against Bindi in the end.

And what did you think?

A 'Jerseylicious' Split!

photo courtesy of imdb.com When you were on a semi-successful reality show, especially as one of the key players, and everyone watched your love story unfold, it only makes sense they will want to keep following you after the series has ended. Such has been the case for 'Jerseylicious' star, Tracy DiMarco , who always went head-to-head with Olivia Blois-Sharpe on the show based around the never-ending drama at the Jersey salon, The Gatsby. Eventually, DiMarco got her happily ever after when she married Corey Epstein in her dream wedding. She continued to pursue her passion, have three kids, develop a wildly successful podcast, and work on clothing and accessories.  But, when you are in the public eye, boasting 541K followers on Instagram , almost everything you do is up for scrutiny. Fans (and haters) began to notice a lack of presence when it came to her husband, Corey and questioned if their marriage was okay. There is an abundance of photos of daughters, Skylar and

'The Real L Word' Cast- Where Are They Now?

photo courtesy of amazon.com With the return of the hit Showtime series, 'The L Word,' it makes fans of the original show and ultimate reality spinoff, 'The Real L Word,' quite nostalgic. Actors can keep acting but reality stars can drift off into the clouds after their 15 minutes of fame are over. TRLW lasted three seasons with a revolving door of lesbians who soon became like friends and family. Initially based in California, the show followed the lives of a handful of gay women, somehow intertwined in life, and what it was like to date, fall in love, have sex, try to make babies, propose, be successful, and so much more. By the final season, the series went bi-coastal, utilizing NYC as a playground, as well. The show ended in 2012 with two weddings and a lot of tears. So, where are they now?
