'Veronica Mars' is Back On Your TV and On DVD!

*WARNER BROS. HOME ENTERTAINMENT PROVIDED ME WITH A FREE COPY OF THE DVD I REVIEWED IN THIS BLOG POST. THE OPINIONS I SHARE ARE MY OWN.*

Even though 'Veronica Mars' left our TV screens on May 22, 2007 after three solid seasons, it definitely left its mark on popular culture. The series helped launch and solidify series star, Kristen Bell, as a star and fans were so eager for more Mars and Bell, a film was released in 2014. But, in a time of endless revivals, there was still a heavy demand for the drystery (drama/mystery) and Hulu saw this when Mars was brought back for a season four (some deem it a season one-2019). Unlike the other seasons, with 20+ episodes, the revival only consisted of eight and saw the return of Bell in the pivotal role.

Now, season one (2019) is coming to DVD for your viewing pleasure, with all eight episodes along with the cast at San Diego Comic-Con. This cast appearance was what prompted Hulu to move the premiere date of the series up one week so it is really exciting to see everyone back together. I personally love going to the Cons and understanding the high demand for revivals because it truly makes sense why the streaming network chose to throw all eight episodes to the fans on July 19th because they really deserved it. Remember, when the series first began, these streaming networks did not even exist so this was a big deal.

Kristen Bell still has it as Mars; it as if time has stopped. She steps right back into those shoes and is perfection. This is like riding a bike for her and it is amazing to relive my youth through her fluffy eyes. It was also fun to see some of the original supporting cast back in action, like a family reunion. This is one revival I am truly happy for and to be able to have all eight episodes with the bonus feature right at my fingertips, is truly great nostalgia. Out of four gnomes, I give this one three! Own VERONICA MARS (2019): THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON on DVD October 22. Enjoy!!

A 'Jerseylicious' Split!

photo courtesy of imdb.com When you were on a semi-successful reality show, especially as one of the key players, and everyone watched your love story unfold, it only makes sense they will want to keep following you after the series has ended. Such has been the case for 'Jerseylicious' star, Tracy DiMarco , who always went head-to-head with Olivia Blois-Sharpe on the show based around the never-ending drama at the Jersey salon, The Gatsby. Eventually, DiMarco got her happily ever after when she married Corey Epstein in her dream wedding. She continued to pursue her passion, have three kids, develop a wildly successful podcast, and work on clothing and accessories.  But, when you are in the public eye, boasting 541K followers on Instagram , almost everything you do is up for scrutiny. Fans (and haters) began to notice a lack of presence when it came to her husband, Corey and questioned if their marriage was okay. There is an abundance of photos of daughters, Skylar and

'The Real L Word' Cast- Where Are They Now?

photo courtesy of amazon.com With the return of the hit Showtime series, 'The L Word,' it makes fans of the original show and ultimate reality spinoff, 'The Real L Word,' quite nostalgic. Actors can keep acting but reality stars can drift off into the clouds after their 15 minutes of fame are over. TRLW lasted three seasons with a revolving door of lesbians who soon became like friends and family. Initially based in California, the show followed the lives of a handful of gay women, somehow intertwined in life, and what it was like to date, fall in love, have sex, try to make babies, propose, be successful, and so much more. By the final season, the series went bi-coastal, utilizing NYC as a playground, as well. The show ended in 2012 with two weddings and a lot of tears. So, where are they now?
