Kirk Douglas Dies at 103!

Kirk Douglas has passed away at 103. He was a living legend of the silver screen whose son, Michael Douglas, was able to take the reigns from him. But Kirk still managed to live his best life, despite suffering a stroke several years back in 1996. Michael released a statement today:

“It is with tremendous sadness that my brothers and I announce that Kirk Douglas left us today at the age of 103. To the world, he was a legend, an actor from the golden age of movies who lived well into his golden years, a humanitarian whose commitment to justice and the causes he believed in set a standard for all of us to aspire to.”

Kirk leaves behind his sons Michael (wife Catherine Zeta-Jones), Joel, and Eric as well as his wife of 65 years, Anne Buydens. We are sending a lot of love to his family, fans, and all who knew and loved him!
