'90 Day Fiance' Paul and Karine Drama- What We Know!

Paul Staehle and Karine Martins have not been the most stable '90 Day Fiance' couple we have ever seen. Well, none of the couples are all that stable but this is one of those hot mess couples that make you go "hmmm..." Let's face it- when we saw Paul packing up to head to meet Karine for the first time in Brazil, he went just a tad overboard- and that is an understatement. He brought bundles of cases filled with more protective equipment than I think we have ever seen and even Karine had to laugh when he dressed like the Gorton's fisherman to swim the Amazon with her. He even learned how to protect his penis from a dangerous fish so he was beyond ready for anything to come his way; the fact he had a lock of his mother's hair with him was even more protection than the fish penis condom, let's just make this clear. But, a criminal background and time in jail may have been more than his soon-to-be bride, Karine bargained for.
They went through their ups and downs but did go onto wed and she became pregnant though she lost their first child. It really pissed me off when the language barrier in the Brazilian hospital caused Paul to blurt out the baby is dead as opposed to "he's no longer with us" or "there's no heartbeat?" He just sounded dumb and ill-educated and as Karine was suffering, he told her he was broke so he had to return home to the states to make more money. Fast forward to now. There have been accusations she is not happy with him, that she is cheating on him, etc. but they have a son, Pierre and are seemingly expecting a second baby. But, all this came to a head the past few days when Paul reported Karine and Paul had gone missing after she had filed a restraining order against him. Through Instagram, Paul, 37 showed himself in the hospital and had this to say: “Karine took off with Pierre and I don’t know where they are."

Apparently, his wife went off in a car, Pierre has no car seat and Karine's phone was shut off. Paul also took this time to add he was being treated for an STD but that he had never cheated on his wife. Maybe that fish finally snuck up his penis. Just kidding. He also added there's a restraining order, he is not allowed within 500 feet of his wife or son and shared paperwork which showed there was allegedly a weapon involved with Paul being considered "armed and dangerous." Karine, for her part, stated her husband had raped her and was holding onto her Green Card, telling her he would take away Pierre if she ever attempted to leave. Paul has admitted he has cameras all around his home as sheriffs showed up yesterday looking for Karine. The rumor mill went crazy with fans wanting answers and with his history, some believing he may have hurt Karine and Pierre. Alas, Karine has come out and said she is safe.

Taking to her social media, she had this to say: “I want you all to know that me and Pierre are doing well now. All this past days I had a lot going on. As the media showed, I had issues where the police was called because I feared for my life and my son’s life which led me to ask for help and ultimately be rescued from an environment that no longer was healthy for none of us involved in the situation. Relationships are hard and sometimes it just can’t be fixed anymore. I need this time to organize my thoughts, work on myself and care for my son after everything have been through in the last year and half. Just to clarify, the EPO was me, I had help from a translator since I do not speak English. I also would like to state that I’m not missing. The police knows where to find me if they need me. This is a legal matter not a “media matter”. That being said it’s the first and last time I will speak about it.”

To be honest, neither one should have custody of this child and is she even pregnant again? On top of that, do they get off on this volatile, toxic relationship? I would not want Paul's mom raising the baby and I do not know about Karine's parents so this is a mess.
