Iconic OG 'DWTS' Judge Len Goodman Passes Away

It is a sad day in the DWTS world. Former OG judge Len Goodman has passed away at the age of 78, per ET. At the end of last season, he announced that he would be leaving the long-running series which broke the hearts of many. Though he could be harsh, he had wit and sarcasm to go along with his critiques. Goodman was the perfect blend of good cop/bad cop judge. Now, his departure makes much more sense. Apparently, he had bone cancer but passed peacefully, per his manager, Jackie Gill.

"It is with great sadness to announce that Len Goodman has passed away peacefully, aged 78. A much-loved husband, father and grandfather who will be sorely missed by family, friends and all who knew him." This statement was initially given to BBC and soon began to circulate. Though fans are just learning about this today, Goodman actually passed over the weekend in hospice.

Len's former co-judge, Bruno Tonioli had this to say: "Heart broken my dear friend and partner for 19 years the one and only ballroom legend #lengoodman passed away. I will treasure the memory of our incredible adventures and hundreds of shows we did together @bbcstrictly @dancingwiththestars they will never be anyone like you we will miss you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Bruno."

The tributes kept coming and they certainly will not stop as he was a legend in the ballroom. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and all who knew, and loved him. Dance in paradise!
